The Lithuanian Language and Culture Courses for foreigners of Lithuanian origin
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must be foreigners of Lithuanian origin and meet one of the following requirements: be members of Lithuanian community abroad OR be students, lecturers or researchers at higher education or research institutions abroad (except for students, lecturers, or researchers from Russian and Belarusian higher education and research institutions).
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
- application form and motivation letter;
- official (signed (and stamped)) letter of recommendation filled and signed by representative of Lithuanian community abroad OR by foreign higher education and research institutions. Letters of recommendation can be prepared by using this form and must not be older than 6 months.
- official document proving Lithuanian origin;
- official document proving that the candidate is formally or informally studying Lithuanian language, history and culture (optional). Note that self study is not classified as an informal study of Lithuanian language, history and culture.
